Haemodialysis Centre

Hospital Fatimah’s brand new Dialysis Centre with state of the art Fresenius 4008S Dialysis & Dialog Machines is now fully operational. The Centre has the capacity for 20 machines. Added features in each of the Fresenius machines are Diasafe bacterial filters, which will ensure pure pyrogen free water and single use bloodlines which reduce contamination, providing better and more hygienic facilities to the patient.

The Centre is also equipped with the latest physical features such as a reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment room where treated water is monitored for total dissolved solids, a dialyser reprocessing room, treatment room catering to minor procedures and resuscitation facilities such as the defibrillator and monitor as well as all drugs required in cardiopulmonary resuscitation .

The Consultant Nephrologist and a team of qualified nurses care for and manage each individual patient at every session.

The Centre designed in conformance to the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, is located at the Lower Ground Floor. This facility opens six days a week from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm excluding Sundays and public holidays.

Standard out-patient dialysis is charged at RM 145 per session.
